To apply for a long gun eligibility certifate beginning April 14, 2014 you must be at least 18 years of age or older and take a Firearms Safety Course.The NRA Basic Rifle Course and the NRA Baic Pistol Class is accepted for the long gun eligibility certifate. With this Certificate you can purchase long guns and ammunition.

Please note you can take the pistol permit course and use that class to obtain a long gun eligibility permit. It will save you $50

Private classes allow you one-on-one training.
